What kind of habitat is the best for an escape artist rat?

I am going to be adopting a rat that is a known escape artist. He will chew through the plastic cages to be with you. What is the best kind of habitat to get for him? He will even chew through the plastic bottom of a cage to get out. What kind of habitat is the best for an escape artist rat?
Get an aquarium with a wire lid, they are sold at most pet stores. I paid $10 for aquarium and $9 for lid. Its the only way I could keep her from escaping. My rats I have now are in a large bird cage(they are really big rats), with the doors twist-tied shut. But it has a plastic tray on the bottom so you should

go with the aquarium.

Ive had many rats over the past 20 years and have naver had one with an uti. Some of us keep their cages CLEAN. But if you have $70 dollars for the rat manor then go for it.What kind of habitat is the best for an escape artist rat?
DO NOT KEEP RATS IN AQUARIUMS!!!! It makes more small and gives them URIs. Try the rat manor-
