Yes, they do sleep at night. Rats adjust to your routine and will be awake when you are. They will wake during the night and make a bit of noise(depending on what the cage layout is), but its nothing compared to the noise hamsters make.Do fancy rats sleep at night?
no they are nocturnal which means they sleep during the day
