Who would win in a fight between 20 sixteen year olds and a desert rat?

Mick Smith FP comes out with some stories. Today he reckons 20 random sixteen year olds would beat a desert rat in a fight. Is this true?Who would win in a fight between 20 sixteen year olds and a desert rat?
Hmmm, one desert rat - fully trained in unarmed combat, and easily able to kill, also has the ability to single out any ringleader and dispose thereof.

There was a wonderful story in the paper in the 80s about somebody phoning the police because they'd seen two youths mugging an old man in the park. When the police arrived the old man had one youth pinned up on the park railings by the scruff of his coat and the other one in a headlock.


It turned out that the old man was David Stirling, founder of the long range recon in the desert that later became the SAS.
As the Desert Rats were the 7th armoured division he would have a tank so he wins.

Most likely yes. Sheer numbers have bested martial arts experts and heavyweight champions. The desert rat could probably take down one or 2 before he was just out right tackled.
Obviously that's quite possible .. twenty onto one doesn't sound like good odds .. but then the youths would all be losers for even contemplating the idea.
I think 20 sixteen year olds would beat most people. A desert rat is just a normal soldier, nothing special.
